You have reached the home page of Seshadri Gopalakrishnan. Iam based out of Gurgaon in the Delhi NCR region, in India. I have been learning the violin for over eleven years under the guidance of Mr. Ivan Rodrick. I have been teaching privately for over five years in Gurgaon. I cleared the Trinity Guildhall grade 8 violin examination with 84% in the year 2008.
I teach only serious students, however there is no age bar. As a student I expect you to display an interest and dedication towards your instrument, that only a true musician feels. I follow the Suzuki violin method for beginners, with a combination of scales and tunes from the Honeyman book.
For intermediate students I teach with the aid of a computer, to play out recorded accompaniments and as a metronome. I lay emphasis on basic techniques for violin playing like posture, left and right arm technique and ability to recognise and play musical phrases correctly.

Iam currently recording the complete ABRSM and Trinity Guildhall syllabus for violin. They are available for free viewing at Musikexams. Look under the ABRSM violin section. Online Violin Lessons
